Yeah if it existed. Yeah I said it. This kid is full of crap. Notice he hasn't said anything since he was called out about posting a pic of a Vette engine bay.

It's a shame if your life sucks so bad that you make stuff up to post on the Net. I was really hoping that someone had actually stuffed a LT5 into a F-body, but I guess I got my hopes up for nothing...

I don't know if I would want an LT5. Parts for it are hard to find, rare, and expensive as hell to get.

+1. It is a sweet engine but honestly compared to the LS6 or a cammed LS1 is nothing special. The LS7 is light years better with pushrods. It was for it's time awesome being one of the first DOHC V8's available in a production car but to todays standards in underpowered. Not to mention the ZR1 sold back then for about what the Z06 sells for now. IMO it was an overpriced, underpowered car. Honestly the Blown DOHC V8 in the terminator stangs is a better engine if you ask me. It definately would be a cool swap to see an LT5 in an F-Body though. Too bad the kid was full of it.

I agree that there are better, more cost-effective ways to get power, but the "Wow!" factor would've been intense...
