    Headers

im looking to get a set of headers and i was wonder which one fit the best. i have heard that the pacesetters require cutting on the k member and others i have heard you have to grind the block. i have even heard some have trouble with the steering shaft. if any one could help out id really appreciate it.
    thanks

Agreed. I also have pacesetters and didn't have to notch the K-member. I had to lift the block on the passenger side to get to header to slip in. But some cars you have to do that and some you don't.

I have Stainless Works headers and installation was a cake, no modifications/cutting on anything to get it fit.

I have dynatechs and the fit is amazing. These headers are underated and are just as good..if not, better than cooks or qtp IMO

I envy a lot of you guys. Here in CA, specifically the Bay Area, I haven't found one smog inspection shop that'll even look at my car if I get long-tubes or relocate/remove the cats. Really sucks!

I don't know how some of you guys tolerate some of the laws in CA. They would drive me insane.

i thought all the hot rods got away with stuff like that. like the 32 ford coupes with no muffler just straight headers i know they didnt have cats back in the 30's but im sure they had mufflers

That's because those old hot rods are considered 'Historic Vehicles' and aren't held to the standards of todays passenger vehicles.
