I don't know about all the CRAZY California laws out there. All I know is that Pacesetter makes emssions legal coated longtubes. And about that EGR thing, I am just going to block it off with a block off plate.

this might be a dumb question, but whats the diff between flowtechs and hooker 1 3/4 super comps. they look identical and they are the same thickness.

cheaper headers like flowtech dont have as thick of flanges.....when i bought my 69 nova it had a small leak at the header flange....they were flowtech and whoever put them on and tighten them down to much....i bought a used set of hookers from a friend and the were thicker and better build....also a little longer i ended up having to cut and reweld me pipes

I just cut the EGR and AIR tubes off and welded them shut, it looks a lot nicer in the engine compartment

As for the header install, I took my sweet ass time. I spent 2 months, working 1 or 2 nights a week for a few hours. I also replace the lowering springs with the factory springs, as the LTs had clearance issues. A friend and I custom built the Y-pipe as well, as I bought the cheap version of the Dynatech headers that didn't come with cats (gotta love Indiana!!!)
