Header problem

I got 1999 trans am I bought SLP LT's & y-pipe. It hangs to low and dumps into almost everything on the road. What LT's headers & y-pipe should I buy that will give me the exhaust flow and clearance that I need.

How about the hooker setup i heard that it was a great setup too

Just finished my PaceSetter install and everything fit perfect from what I could see, other than havin to cut bout an inch off to get my Y-pipe hooked up.

I too had to cut a small amount off of the y-pipe to get proper fitment.
Other then that the rest bolted up fine.

SLP headers are the only ones that hang too low. All other headers will give you plenty of clearance. SLP headers are notorious for this.
