Hooker tuned lengthg ceramic LT and ORY. I am ASE Master mechanic, at the shop with a lift it took me 6 hours start to finish. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Too bad I don't drive around open headers.........

I helped my son and his buddy install SLP longtubes and ORY on his and it took us about 10-12 at least to do the full job. We quit working at night around 10PM and finished up the next morning in a few hours.

Come on now, do you think it will take a half hour? lol. Any long tube header is going to take most of the day, no matter the brand.

Kook's, love em. Good mechanical skills, but paid $300 labor to have installed because I wanted them done and custom tuned the same day.

Pacesetters here. Did the install in about 6-8 hours, had a couple buddies helpin me. I also had problems with the block interfering. If I did it again I would just take a sawzall to it and be done with it quick. It's just there for casting reasons, so no worries on cutting it off.

have slp headers, i lost count of the number of hours. was jus me an my lil bro workin on it till we realized to get the passenger side header in you had to lower the trannie, pry it over and pull a houdini move to get the header in there. then didnt realize the EGR extension tube was a bitch to get on, and neither me or my bro are mechanics. plus they hang 2inches off the ground, so if u have lower than stock suspension, deff wouldnt recommend slp's. if i coulda redone it, i woulda gone with hookers

Too bad you didn't research here first. That was my first new thread, last November, I was asking about SLP headers, everybody told me to stay away, so that is why I bought the Hookers.

yeaaa, i found out after gettin em on then the guy who usually works on my car told me i was crazy for installin em myself, lol. eventually im gonna change the heads an cam, so if theres money im deff gonna go with hookers. they were the worst on the install, but they seem to attract all the ricers and make cops pull 180s an follow me home if i drive by too loud. i have the loudmouth too, so that jus makes it worse lol

Jet Hots, took me about 7 hours with a jack and 4 stands. I had a buddy help me with a few things that saved me probably another hour or so.

I have heard also how loud the Loudmouth is. Glad I don't have that, mine is loud enough. The muffler I use keeps the stock tailpipes, the muffler itself is/was a Midas performance muffler, it is really quiet at a cruise but accelerating is pretty loud. No droaning at cruise at all, I do like that part, sounds a lot like the opening sound on this web site.
