    Header Install-Piece of cake!

Just finished my header install. Took a little time, but was amazed at how easy it was. The fitment was perfect, no banging, no loosening motor mounts, etc. They slid right in... Changing the plugs was more of a hassle than anything. Really impressed with how mean it sounds now, however, not thrilled with the performance aspect. Expected a big difference but I can't tell. Looking for my next mod now before I get my tune this week. Any suggestions?

Ya I never understood all the hype on header installs. Couple hours and you're done. I never even take the coil packs off. Easiest car by far I've ever put headers on.

You probably won't feel too much in performance on an otherwise stock engine. Headers gave me a tenth and 1 mph over the stock manifolds. These manifolds just aren't as terrible as they were 30-40 years ago.
On an engine with a cam and aftermarket heads is where the headers would really shine though.

Well, I'm having a dyno tune done this Friday. So we'll see how much of a difference they really make. It's runnin real rich right now, so maybe they'll pan it out and make some horse power out of it. I'm anxious to get back to the track now as well. May have to do that Friday evening.

Anyone know how to disconnect the little spaceship at the back right side of the intake manifold? It was connected to the AIR system off the exhaust manifolds.

You unbolt the rearmost coil pack bolt (pain in the butt), unbolt the other bracket from driver's side head, and you also have to plug a vacuum hose left open... Simple but hard to get your hands in there to do it.

I'm assuming I can just get a plug for the vaccum line at Advanced Auto or somethin?
