header gaskit
I purchased a stock set of gm exhaust manifold gas kits like I was advised to for my lth install should I be putting them on dry or with some high temp rtv on both sides

NO RTV.....if you had graphite gaskets you need to carefully remove all the residue. Do not use steel wire brush on the block or heads. Use a brass wire brush so that it will not scratch the aluminum surface of the block or heads.

thanks for the help,
also can I install and use my car with the new tune that frost did with some deletes before I actually install my lth,s and disconnect egr,rear o2's etc

I agree - install them dry without any type of sealant. Stock gaskets are the way to go on our cars.

I also agree with stock gaskets and new bolts. I got the GM replacements fairly cheap. When you get them on and torqued to spec start it and let it heat up then give each bolt another pound. Will help bolts from coming loose. Just don't burn your hands!
