Header ?
I am gettin ready to order some Lt headers, I am going to be installing them myself and I jus want to cover everything that is needed. I don't want to get half way done and had forgot something.
Headers
O2 sensors
Spark plugs they need changed figured it would be the best time
New header bolts?
New gaskets or originals?
Anything I'm missing ? Jus want it to go as smooth as possible. Any help would be appreciated

Blue- 2001 Formula Firehawk
Lots of PB Blaster, and don't confuse the dipstick bolt with the header bolt, it'll make things a pain later on.

Besides the PB Blaster I also recommend a couple of six packs of whatever your friend that will be helping you drinks and a sawzall to make be able to make some cuts if needed. (exhaust piping and stock ory)
Also do everything that is top side before you lift it up. What I mean is pull plugs, loosen exhaust manifold, remove air pump egr is you have it, coil packs for more room.
there is a good how to thread in the stickies.
What style headers?
Did you get an ORY?
Are you doing this on a lift or in your garage?

sebring silver- Y2K SS CAMARO
like john said, do NOT use the paper gaskets that come with the pacesetter kit, i did and it lasted about 4k miles and blew out on the pass side rear. (worst place for it to blow out), i had to use a lift to put mine on because i could get the passenger side high enough to install that header. it should come with header bolts in the kit, i would spend the money on a set of arp's if its in the budget though.
just an fyi the very rear plug on the pass side is easier to get from under the car and you dont have to remove the coils if you dont mind working around them.2000 ss camaro, forged lq9 370 short block, stage 3 PRC 243 heads, fast 102 w, big mouth throttle body, MS3 cam, 1.7 roller rockers, stage 3 t-56, monster stage 3, pro 5.0, 4.10's with moser axles, bmr tq arm, lca's, phb. SOLD (thankfully)!!!
New project: 1968 step-side, partial restore, ls/th400 swap. hopefully boosted pics and more info to come!!!
Having a small cam is like having a small dick, everytime you go to use it you wish it was bigger

When I say this I believe that it has been corrected by Pacesetter but make sure the bolt threads from Pacesetter look exactly like the ones that come off the stock manifolds
The one on the left was stock, the right was from pacesetter. Look at the bottom of the pic and you see that it bevies in and you will not be able to tighten down completely. I had a huge gap. I reused my stock ones and pacesetter sent me a new bag of bolts. I still have them in a bag in my took box. I'll put them on next time I have to remove the LTs.
Also Anti-seize is your friend make sure you give a small dab

Buy new GM gaskets and I see you didnt list O2 extensions(get plug and play) also i would buy nicer hardware. the Pacesetter junk rusts and makes your engine bay look sloppy. My car was kept outside for maybe 2 months after the header install and has been garage kept since then(18 months) and each bolt is rusty. the black coating on them burned right off.
