    Pictures???

I finished my header install a few days ago and slipped my Y on last night. May have some clearance issues to deal with, but overall it was not a bad project to do. The first night of the swap I had small nicks and cuts all over my right hand. What headers are you installing?

    ok..well is your Y pipe removed ?

a good few taps with a hammer will loosen the manifolds.

At least you didn't break any of them off in the head like I did when I did my header swap.

I was sweating both my spark plug and manifold bolt removal but they all came out quite easily. The manifolds loosened up as soon as the bolts were backed off so no BFH was required.

mine too..but the op is talking about no bolts are in but the manifolds wont budge ..so a hammer wouldnt hurt.

I meant that my manifolds separated from the heads as soon as the bolts were loose -- that's why I did not need a hammer. Sorry for the confusion.
