are you saying all the ls6 intakes, or just the weiand intake? like i said, ive never had my car on a dyno, so there is really no way for me to say how much more hp it adds. but both show improvements over the stock ls1 intake. im not gonna state any specific numbers, but i can say from experience that the car does have more pull at higher rmps. i also added an 80mm TB so that would be a big part too. either way, just about every aftermarket part inflates there hp gains they add.

and like i said in my other post, for the price its good, but if i did it again id prob just get the gm ls6

im talking about the weiand street warrior intake doesnt have any "real" backing to its HP claims. the LS6 is def a upgrade over the LS1. i would love to see this street warrior come out and give the FAST a run for its money, but i doubt that will ever happen

    hey mpfranks,

Did you install the weiand ls6 intake with the bbk 80 mm throttle body all at once? Does the stock throttle body fit in nicely into the weiand? Also, did u notice any increase of throttle response from ur bbk 80 mm throttle body and it must be even more sensitive since u have the weiand intake as well?

    thanks!

yeah i did the TB and the intake at once. and did notice worth while gains. and yeah, the fit of the TB and intake is perfect. its nice too because you can port the weiand intake to fit whatever size TB your fancy desires.

i would have to second that, that the 2000 have bigger cams than the 01-02 in the exchange of the ls6 to keep power at the same level...i think..

Mpfranks, thats awesome that u've felt some gains! since i'm on a tight budget, i think i'll port the stock 75mm TB. I hope porting my stock tb will give me some what of a gain??
