    Had/have from former...

...should I install my "shorty-headers?" I HAD to re-build my LS-1 in my '02 Firehawk, it I'm thinkin', "at this point, I'd be dumb NOT to install them, I just need confirmation." Would you help?

Shorty headers aren't worth much power over the stock manifolds.

Longtubes would make her breathe proper.

Your call really. It isn't going to hurt anything for sure.

If you've got them, why not? I wouldn't go out and buy a new set of shortys to install just because you have the motor out, that would be the time for LT's

+1. Don't go buy shorties, go buy LT and ORY if no emissions in your area. However, if you have some shorties laying around, go ahead and put them on. It will look better than the (good flowing) manifolds.
