    Jeep doesent have egr, air, or any type of air injection. Nor does it really have any smell to the exhaust at all. your cats and even your downstream o2 sensor are just an excuse to let the car run richer and make more smog. Hell your downstream o2 sensor's only job is to decide how much richer to make the engine run in order to make the extra gases burn up in the cat. Older cars were definatly better for the enviroment.
