H-Pipe?
I did a search and can't find anything about H-Pipes... is it worth saving money to go H-Pipe on these cars. Or better yet what I'm asking, what is a disadvantage, scavenging issues? Too loud for some people? Let me know any info, I was just wondering where i can save money but won't do it if its cutting a corner...

An X-pipe will scavenge more efficiently, giving you a slight increase in power over an H-pipe. An X-pipe is considerably louder though. Sometimes annoyingly loud. An H-pipe is more docile while cruising, similar to if you've heard a 5-liter with an H-pipe (which i'm sure you probably have). My opinion when it comes to "H" vs. "X" has always been what you prefer as far as sound. Like I said before, the X-pipe is definitely louder during cruise and has increased interior noise, and there is only a slightly power difference between the two. LS1sounds.com has some H-pipe TD cars on there, as well as X-pipes to compare the two.

H-pipes are louder. They create more drone and a deeper tone especially at cruising speeds.
X-pipes are quieter. They smooth the exhaust tone especially at cruising speeds. They are raspy at peak rpm levels.

Well, anyway,
For TD's dumped, I prefer the deep sound they produce over the sound of an X.
I prefer the opposite with TD's all the way out the back.
I will probably never go back to an H-pipe, but they sure sound awesome.
I think it mainly comes down to your preference.
