Glasspack after the Y

So right now i have my exhaust disconnected after my stock y...anyways i was j/w if i bought one of thoes 20doller "glasspack/cherrybomb" mufflers n put it after the y and left it open if that would give me gain and less wear on the motor, j/w how that would be also i figure the car would probly get quieter right? i mean i kno we need backpressure but should i even bother with the muffler n keep it how it is?

i got a 2 year warrenty...lol so its bullshit i still have everything stock, stock shortys,stock Y n it ends after tha but yeah, i think im going 2 buy a 3inch Y n then leave it open.......but i donno...lol depends on the awnsers from the question above
