    full exhaust installed

Got my car back from Midwest today. 2001 Z28 6sp with K&N FIPK, TSP 1 7/8 Headers, TSP ORY and magnaflow cat back. With the tune up and dynotune I ended up with 340.9 hp @ 5382 rpm (367.5 HP with WCF figured in and I assume that is weather correction factor) and 350.9 LB/FT @ 4072 rpm (378.7 with WCF) on a mustang dynometer. They seemed surprised by the output for an CAI and exhaust with stock cam and heads. So far I am very happy with it. Not loud at part throttle cruise but announces herself with WOT with a slight rasp at 1800-2000 rpm part throttle.

little low at the ORY so I may try and add a bracket to pull tighter up to the floor and support it but no bangs or rattles yet. It did cause a cars alarm to beep when I started it at the Whataburger LOL. but overall quite happy so far

I guess my big question is do I really have a 367 whp engine or is that just dyno smoke show? I know ultimately when I get to the track again will be when I know the changes really did but I wont know if the engine or axle makes that biggest change

Here is a good article from the late GMHTP (RIP) on dyno correction factors. The preceding article in the series was also very informative.

Thanks for the link. I was having a hard time believing my stock long block was that healthy. I got lucky on this car as I picked her up for 6500 with 78k on the clock. 3400 lbs on the scale and 367 hp I am gonna have fun next trip to the track
