    Fuel Pump Replacement

    It's time for a new fuel pump. Mine has 'warned' me twice.

    I'm considering replacing just the pump with a Granetelli, making the assumption that the sender is still in good condition.

    What do you think?

    I prefer Racetronix kit with harness. Haven't dealt with Granatelli's much, only known one person to install it, and either by fault of install or product, it failed....so he got a Racetronix kit. Just my .02c

    I've since you guys suggested it, I've looked into them. The racetronix looks better built than the granetelli but I'm liking the higher maximum pressure that the Granetelli offers.

    I'm also looking into the future, I'd like to do a S/C or T/C eventually.

    +1 Racetronix. i did mine, love it. i also got a a fuel filter w/ an external regulator (i need to check where) ... i would DEFINITELY consider that.

    I would also suggest cutting a door in the rear hatch area for easier access to the pump. I did this and it's 100 times more easier than dropping the tank (& exhaust & suspension).

    That was my plan, I've already got a piece of metal and some make-shift hinges.

    Even though I've got access to a floor lift, why make it more difficult than necessary?

    I have the walbro 255 and love it has been good for over 3 yrs so I have no complaint with it.
