    Free Flowing Catalytic Converters

Is there a worthwhile RWHP gain by installing Free Flowing Catalytic Converters. I have PS Shorties and Hooker CB already installed. Worth the trouble or leave it alone?

Stock cats flow pretty good. Not worth the $ imo.

It all depends........ How many miles are on it.....?
Yes you can gain power with them. And they are ALOT cheaper than they were.

Why not just go with an off road y pipe? Cheaper and better gains.

Unfortunately Some of us have emissions......
Not to mention street raceing task force that go's around pulling us over and braeks out a mirror and temp. gun and shots that empty cat.....When the temp is the same as the pipe.....=It's empty and going to the pound......And fines.

Ya well he lives in N Carolina, not Cali. I haven't had cats on mine for 5 years. (passed emissions twice) Cali is gay.

    opted to stay legal

I know that there is more power with LT's but opted to stay legal in case the inspection criteria gets tougher here. They normally don't raise the car here and use the plug. However if they happen to raise the car and there are no CATS (or they are moved) you "will" fail. I won't see the track but do enjoy giving the rice burners a fit at age 63 yrs young. Thanks for the insight.

I'm saying why not just keep the manifolds on and get an ory pipe. Not hard to change out every other year for emissions.
