A few questions about some mods.

I have a stock 94 z28, with about 158k miles on it. The engine seems to be doing just fine, I haven't had any problems with it. It's just the rear that will need be be replaced as soon as I get another job and can take out a loan to replace it.

Now for a few first mods. I plan on doing an exhaust and cold air intake as my first mods. How much should I expect going from stock to these two mods:

Also, what is so different from the CAI above and this "full" one here:

A good catback is generally worth 10-15HP, depending on the muffler used and the pipe diameter.

CAI setups differ, and I've never known anyone to run one of those. If you had an LS1 I'd recommend FTRA, but I don't think they make a LT1 setup.

Have you done the free mods? You can pick up a little cheap HP with them if you haven't...
2002 WS6 Trans Am, A4, SLP lid, P&P TB, 3500 stall, 24K GVW tranny cooler, HPTuners, Pacesetter LTs, Bassani dual exhaust with 'x' crossover, coolant bypass, sealed airbox to hood.

No, I haven't really had the chance to do some of them. It's been getting really cold, and below freezing during the night and mornings when I leave for school, so some I'd rather not do now.

I'm still looking for a CAI, but keep the ideas comming!
