    For those who are using a Fernco fitting as a smooth bellows, what size are you using?
    1998 Trans Am, A4, SLP Loudmouth I, US Exotics WS9 ram air hood, Volant intake, 3.23's, 70k miles

    Yes, as a cheap alternative to a smooth bellows.

    I had one on my car, it's hard as a bitch getting it to fit on the TB. I evetually put the OEM peice back because I just didn't like using the Ferco fitting.

    i just switched ove about 3 weeks ago and havent had a problem. They had 2 types of the 3 inch couplers and i went with the thinner and more flexible one. Mine went over the tb snug and the maf was a little loose but with the clamp tightened up it was snug as a bug in a rug. It seems to have helped but i did it more for looks than anything.

    I put mine in a pan of boiling water for a minute or two before putting it on. I've since with with a Baker hose which is more expensive but much easier to work with.
