My cutouts are only open for racing. So I have manual caps. Takes me 30 minutes. The hardest part is getting the car in the air high enough.

So what if you have to open/close it often to keep it from sticking? I like to hear my car loud more often than not. For me, my car is lowered. It is impossible for me to reach under the car to manually take off the cap. Plus, if I have a cruiser following me, I can quickly flip the switch and close the cutout. With just the cap, I can't pull over in the middle of traffic and recap the cutout.

    Mine is lowered as well.
But I like tame for the street.

To me, if you need to cap them because there is an officer behind you, then they are too loud for the street.

Mine isn't quiet in any gear with the cutouts open.

Have to get by the first minute or so which is sound clips of the stock motor.

    Thanks!

I do prefer the cutouts capped. Good sound, not too loud, still makes pretty good power.
Magnaflow mufflers work great on these cars!!

It Sounds Like You Have A Cam On That Engine Maybe An Offroad 'y'? I Doubt That The Sound That Beast Makes Is Just Because Of The Dual Magnaflow Exhaust.... How Can I Get Mine To Sound Even Half As Aggresive As That?

    It is nowhere near stock.
Hell...the stock motor isn't in there anymore.

    Large cammed stroker motor.
No y-pipe. It is true duals with cutouts at each header.

Magnaflow catback with longtubes is a good start.
Internal motor work (cam mainly) will be needed to get that lope at idle.

    Not my car...

What do you think of that? That is the Magnaflow with headers.

YEAH THAT'S EXACTLY THE SOUND I'M LOOKING FOR! SO THAT'S JUST THE MAGNAFLOW MUFFLERS AND HEADERS? IS THAT A SINGLE OR A DUAL MUFFLER SETUP?

Cutout might get you a little bit.
Plug wires are maintenance though. No power gains. Unless you have some TERRIBLE stock wires.
