Fast lsx intake
Hey, i recently blew my bbk intake so i purchased the Fast lsx 102 intake and throttle body. My mechanic says i need a new or modified fuel rail system. And i can't argue. So i guess my question is. which fuel rail system should i go with? I can order a kit that adapts the stock fuel rail system to the Fast intake for $230. But, i hope to find an upgrade. Instead of using the stock. I wouldnt doubt there is an upgraded billet fuel rail kit that will work. and maybe even cheaper. But where and/or how do i find one? Any feedback will be helpful. Thanks :ñ)

There are several aftermarket rails for the ls motors. Check Summit racing, Jegs and Ebay. They all carry them.

why does everyone who wants to upgrade their intake go straight for fast?? profesional products makes a 96mm intake which comes with fuel rails and is half the price.....

I wouldn't purchase the professional products one for this reason alone...
On their website it states and I quote "*Dyno test was on a 350 cid LS1 with AFR heads and Lunati cam"....
Last I checked, the LS1 motor is a 346 cid...not 350.
Just sayin

It was spare of the moment. I had a failing lifter and ordered almost a whole new valvetrain. When we took off the intake we found it was blown. I knew the intake was too small, but was hoping to hold off til later. So I had to bump up and get one. I didn't get much time to shop. I just heard that the Fast 102 lsx was the best. Or among the best.

Most of them are universal with two aluminum rails, brackets, flex hose and fitting to run between the rail ends and to you stock fuel line.
I prefer Summit because they have a great tech support and most of yhe guys there know what they are talking about and selling.
I'm running the Edelbrock Proflo XT on my 04 goat and love it... $365 shipped

I won't argue that it makes more of a power gain BUT not by much.... were talking anywhere from a 300- 500 dollar difference depending on what rails you get with the fast. that's money that could of been spent on another upgrade somewhere else. not to mention that you can port an polish the PP96 and get even more gains....

Aluminum intakes heat sink more than composite intakes. You can also port the Fast intake. Personally I would never stick an aluminum intake on my car unless it was forced induction
