fast 90/90
is the fast 90mm intake still available new. the only one i can find is the 102mm and that seems to big for my application. i seen a few used adds but im not interested in those either unless i dont have a choice. thanks

It is not available new any longer. Your best bet is going to be to buy a used one, or get the 102.
And you can never be too big.

thats what i thought, does the 102 basicly supercede the 90 and the 92. you said you can never go too big, cant you loose bottom end torque if you go to big?

You will only take in as much air as the engine can use. Too small of an intake/throttlebody can impede performance. Your engine may not use the intake and tb to it's full capability, but it won't hurt anything. Which is also why they discontinued the smaller size.

that makes sense, so im doing a h/c/i swap. the heads are prc stage 5.3 heads with 224 cam. and i guess the fast 102 intake. so my question is what throttle body would be best for this set up the 90, 92, or 102mm tb

Don't buy a fast 90 tb. They have a sticking problem right out of the box. Find you a Nick Williams or a PTM from Texas Speed.

don't forget with the 102 you will need new fuel rails, skinney injectors, new water pump or grind your stock one down, and get rid of the MAF for an SD tune.
I'd personally get a used 90 / 92 (there around) and sacrifice the 5hp.
You'll sacrifice a little down low with the 102 (5 - 7hp) but will gain it back after I think 3-4k rpms.
