Capped it feels lacking up top, uncapped it tosses the 315 Nitto DR's loose in 1st and 2nd pretty easily.

Sounds more NASCAR than muscle car, so for DD no I don't think it sounds "beautiful." That's the beauty of this site though, EVERYONE has their own opinion and adds their own flavor to it, personally I need my car sounding more throatier than that, the combo you have I have heard in person before and to me it's just plain loud. I like a nice muscle car rumble, which is why I prefer an ORY/Hooker or Magnaflow setup. To each his own, which cam are you running?

I think we've strayed from the original topic a bit, but it doesnt matter anyhow because I went way off topic and just ordered a GMMG cat-back. Should be here by friday or so, cant wait!

a magnaflow with pacesetters and orp was raspy in my car.
i changed out the muffler to a hooker areo chamber and rasp went away.
also i like the sound of the aerochamber better.

Got my GMMG installed Friday. big hink u wont be sorry for spending 7 big ones. It's sounds perfect! Dont know if this makes sense but I had just a Magnaflow muffler b4. This is louder but less drone in the car. I think maybe the larger pipe heading to muffler all the sound is out the back. U will definately feel difference too. Just wait till u fire it up first time. Damn, I'm still hard!

Awesome, that's exactly what I was needing to hear!!! I bought my dad a Magnaflow catback for his '99Z last year, and while I like the sound/tone of the exhaust, it's just not quite as mean as what I would like for my own ride. Cant wait to slap on the GMMG.
