I'm glad you agree with me. I just want to hear that setup on the street. But, yeah, it sounds good.

It isn't the loud that gets me, it is the sound.

Maybe mine was because the hi-flow cats. But I can't think that was all of it.

depends also if u let the engine warm up a bit.. then the sound get better.
I do have the cats on with Hooker LT and Y, Corsa cat-back. it sounds sweet. not too loud, but at WOT it's mean. people tell me that since I can't hear it well when I punch it, i being the driver. they (my friends) being outside..

    EXTREMELY raspy.

I think I might have a sound clip sitting around somewhere. I will check once I sit back down on my PC.

Yeah, I always wonder what my car sounds like to other people, but I don't want to let someone else drive my car while I stand to the side and listen. I'll just drive it.

That would be great. I actually don't know what people mean by 'raspy' and 'drone'. I just can't hear it in my head. All I know is what I like and don't like.

Raspy....little a buzzing coming from it.
Like a 4 cylinder with a melon launcher. But not as bad.

Got a couple more things to do before sitting down for the afternoon though.

Check my post right above yours for what mine sounded like....

Maybe it was the cats doing it. Either way...I moved on.

hahah, the last footage sounds terrible, with the cats is supposed to sound a little more muffled and restrictive, the cats nowadays are very nonrestrictive in comparison to 20 yrs ago,, but man the footage did sound pretty bad. hmm

Ok, now I see what you mean by raspy...
I didn't think the LT's and LM sounded bad, but that cam made it worse.

They will be capped again very soon.
I got a lot of looks just sitting at a light.

Ready for the caps though. I like to hear my radio.

I know what you mean. When I was running open headers, the sound would bounce off every car that passed by me and it would sound like every other car had a race car cam in it. It took me a minute to realize that the sound was bouncing off other cars because a minivan drove by and sounded like a race car.

    Really a power difference though.

Capped it feels lacking up top, uncapped it tosses the 315 Nitto DR's loose in 1st and 2nd pretty easily.

I had the ws6 exhaust, but it was the first to go. Unfortunatley I went to the flowmaster. If I had it to do over, I would have gotten something else instead, but as stated above, cutouts are great. Get a quite exhaust for driving around everywhere and an electric cutout or 2. Loudmouths are cool but they are always loud. gets annoying.
