    Thunder Racing sells three different "shells' of the Fast 90, the outer, inner and middle.

    Does one need all three or is the advantage in the runners or outer shell mostly?

    oh, it's nice, no complaints at all... when i opened her up for the 1st time i made sure no cops were around...

    you would need the entire intake (top, middle, and bottom sheels) to benefit for going to a FAST setup. the bottom shell sits deeper in the valley and is the reason you need the different and shorter headed valley bolts. obviously the middle shell compliments the top and the bottom respectively, while the top shell has higher runners than the Ls6 intake. a side by side comparision shows just sure differences...
