    F.A.S.T. 102 install.

for those wanting it know about the fast 102. the intake fit great. my heads are shaved and it still showed minimal mods for fitment. only thing i had to do was grind a hair on my waterpump because the intake wanted to sit on it. other than that, fast has another good manifold out. have any questions feel free to ask.

Do you have any before and after dyno #'s? And if so, did you go from an LS6 intake to this FAST?

hahaha sorry bro was 2 off, It is the thought that counted their on that part lol. But I would def like to see a good write up on this install and what alot of pictures, I am sure it would benefit the site very well. Just for future ref take lots of pics and do write ups so they could possibly be stickied for future reference to help others that would be awsome.

I seen a back to back dyno of a ported 92 vs. a ported 102 both with a 90mm tb. the 102 made about 10 more hp across the entire rpm band. So im goin on that.

Did they give before and after manifold numbers. What i mean is lets say there was an LS6 manifold switched out to a fast 90 then to a 102?

Im actually thinking of switching to a fast manifold instead of doing heads cas the power gains of the manifold isnt that far off from heads and its easier to do.

That would be nice to see... a HP gain progression from the LS6 intake.

My thoughts exactly. If i could get a 20rwhp bump in power, that would be the shit

Unsure about vs. a ls6 intake. But the link above is a post of a ported 102 vs. a ported 92. both with a ls2 throttle body. The 102 makes about 9rwhp and 6rwtq more than the fast 92. So u could prop. Compare a stock 102 close to a ported 92, imo.

I have also heard problems with clearence with the oil pressure sender unit,I hear you mite need to sand the intake down to make it fit.

Neither did we. Only thing we had to grind was the water pump

How is the port matching on the 102's. It was horrible with my 92 on ported LS6 heads...3/16" overhang on most ports which should cost a good ammount of power I would think. I spent two days port matching it to my heads, this could account for some of the power difference. Not saying it definately is but it's just something that really surprised me when putting on my 92 intake.
