Depending on what bolt on's your talkin and if you can take them off if something should happen. I looked in to this also and your best bet is too call your warranty company and ask them for the info and see if you can get it in writing. If your talkin like a cat-back, lid and stuff like that it should be fine but a cam or lt's and ory i would have too say no.
    Thats the info i got

Any "bolt ons" they would have to prove caused the warranty claim....in otherwords...If I had headers...took it in for a rear end issue....they could not void my warranty because I had headers....Magnusson-Moss Act....here I'll get it for you...
No aftermarket part or accessory that is properly installed on your vehicle will entirely void your original vehicle manufacturers warranty. According to the provisions in the Magnuson-Moss Warranty - Federal Trade Commission Improvement Act, It is the dealership's responsibility to prove that your modification directly caused or affected the failure you are trying to resolve.

2K wow - guess you're buying piece of mind. Bought mine new, no warranty issues so never brought it in for anything. Only problems I've had is a couple batteries, tires, air check valve, and a crapped out window motor in 6 years...but you never know. Read the fine print carefully.

Basically with warranty you get to put an intake, muffler, and some suspension parts.

Question about that though - couldn't they argue that the headers make more power and thus put more strain on the rear-end?

you have to read the contract. if it states they will not cover the car if after market parts are installed, then you are out of luck. this is also dependent on what's broke versus what you put on the car. if the power window motor goes bad, and you put headers on the car, you are covered. if the engine spins a bearing and you have headers, then you're in for fight. this is where if you go to court, they'll say he put headers and exhaust on. so, it's resonable to assume he abused the motor.

even though the headers themselves didn't cause the bearing to spin, just having parts that increase the power output of the motor give reason to suspect abuse. have a really good lawyer for this one.

read your contract before putting parts on.
