    Exhausts loudest to quietest

I see alot of people on here who want/need a quiet setup for where they live, and alot who want a loud set up, or something in the middle. So I thought I would try and put together a list to try and help. Lets assume a bolt on car (stock internals). If my list sucks let me know and ill fix it. I know I am forgetting alot of setups. I would like to get around 20 different types.

Assume FULL bolt on car. Full exhaust, ls6 intake, ect.

    1. Cut out (Open headers)
    2. True duals dumped
    3. Loudmouth1/Bullet mufflers/4 inch Mufflex
    4. Texas Speed Rumbler/Loudmouth 2/ FM 10 series
    5. Gmmg Catback/Borla (Open Plate)
    6. Flowmaster 80/40 Series
    7. Borla XR-1 (Borla Mouth)/Corsa Catback
    8. Bassani Street/Flowmaster 80 Series Catback
    9. Hooker aerochamber/Edelbrock RPM
    10. SLP Powerflow/Flowtech Warlock
    11. Magnaflow Catback
    12. SLP dual/dual
    13. Stock

There is no way that the Flowmaster is louder than GMMG, not even close. I have had both.

Also, headers and ORY would change the order of this list for sure.

Did you have the 80's series catback? Those tend to be quiet.

Lets assume the car has long tubes, since most do.

Those listed are either 2 1/2 inch duals or 3 inch catbacks.

We should throw the 4 inch Mufflex system on the list too

    It sounds pretty aggressive

I'd have to say it probably ranks up there with a true dual dumped with very loud bullet mufflers. So probably top 2 or 3 or so.
I can tell you when it fires up at a cruise among 100 other cars, people turn around to see what it is The sewer size pipe gives it a very deep aggressive sound.

Nice muffler...I was going to put those on my car but went with the bullets instead. IMO Spin tech sound great at low idle but at WOT very loud and raspy.

I have a 40 series welded into the stock ws6 catback (3in I believe), with long tubes and a catted 3" Y pipe and I cant believe how loud it gets wot. A little too loud for me lol Glad I didnt get the loudmouth.

Slp also makes the powerflo which I have close to a magnaflow.as far as loud since it has 3 mufflers. Deep at idle and cruising and wakes up at wot especially from 4 to 6k, can wait to hear it with the ms3 cam when I get it back.
