Exhaust set up help
I'm going to install a cam when I get my Trans am (hopefully before the weekend is out) the cam is a G5X3 114, I want to install Hooker Super Comp LT headers I just need to know where to go from there. The car has SLP LM on it and Andrew 69_04 said to replace the resonator with the Borla XR1 muffler and it will be a badass sounding machine. Anyone have any other suggestions or done this themselves?

I'd wait to see what the new setup will sound like before swapping resonators for mufflers. Why spend extra money if you might like it will sound when you're done. But, you can swap the resonator for the muffler and create your own 'borlamouth'. Or you could drop the cat-back setup and go true-duals. And either dump them before the axles or take them all the way back.
www.ls1sounds.com for borlamouth clips.

don't have to do what everyone tells you. i am in agreement, wait until you have it in before touching the exhaust. i personally have LT's/ORY and the LM setup. It's ungodly, loud and how i want it. It's in your face and down right rude. i love it!!! i also have a cam, and it really woke up the car in both performance and sound: hear it for yourself...
