    Exhaust Question/Suggestion

Ok, I have long tube headers going to high flow spun cats which runs to an X pipe and then straight to the tips so no mufflers. I need to get this thing toned down a few notches...it rattles everything in the car and is just stupid loud! So i was thinking about getting a flowmaster dual inlet dual outlet to put in place of where the X pipe is (so doing away with the X pipe). Is this a good way to go about this, any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Rustmasters has a drone raspy sound, some like, some don't.

Magnaflow has pretty good sound, mild at idle but over 3k rpms it opens up like a Muscle car should sound like. You can get single chamber mufflers and still keep the x pipe or go back to an ORY and have a single in, dual out.

My buddy is using a Flowmaster 10 clones with his 383ci, LT headers, 3" Mandrel bend tubing, x pipe, dual exhaust.

This is how mine sounds at idle using Pacesetter LT headers, TSP ORY, 3" SS mandrel bend tubing with a QTP e-Cutout going into a 3" Magnaflow Muffler.

Well i'm trying to keep cost to a minimum because I have to get it painted, so that's why i was thinking to possibly go with just one muffler in place of the x pipe...I'm just wondering if there are any big downsides to doing it this way! Also thanks for posting the exhaust clips!
