exhaust question/open headers
I have pacesetter long tubes and off road y pipe along with the hooker aerochamber muffler. Well earlier today i took the whole muffler and tips off and i kindaaaaa like the sound but will it mess with my motor or performance? i havent driven it too far yet to notice anything but my main concern is will it hurt it?

yes it will hurt performance ...even track cars have short extensions off the merge collector ..it helps to smooth out the turbulence

Will kill your O2's pretty quickly.
Make a lot of noise. (not in a good way most of the time)
Loss of power. (not much)

Install isn't much. The wiring is cake, could do that yourself.
Actually having the cutout welded in is really the only part you likely can't do on your own. And most shops will charge $40-60 to weld it in.
DMH cutout. Single one under the rear passenger seat. $180 I think...somewhere in that range.2008 Trailblazer SS

The reason it lost some pep was because of fresh air hitting the O2's and the computer going all ape shit. I tried it once.......and failed once in that department. I speak from experience.
