exhaust question

ok i want my car loud but i want it to sound good also...any suggestions? i have SLP loud mouth II exhaust right now...so if i get headers and a y pipe without the cats wouold it sound good or shitty ??

It depends what you like. It will be loud as shit, but will also have some rasp. I run LT's, ORY with the LM1. If you dont like rasp, I recommend trading out the LM2 resonator for a magnaflow bullet muffler. It doesnt cost much

shooting a machine gun inside a tin shed? brrrAAcowww. i really dont know how you answer questions about sound, in writing, or give advice on how something sounds. i heard a car take off after a car show and said god that sounds like crap, and the guy next to me said really i thought it sounded pretty good.

lol an SLP loud mouth is like open headers with long tubes and no cats. I have one right now and the problem every loud mouth owner has is that they love wide open sound but hate the rasp at part throtle driving. I know I do. I'm an auto so it's a bit worse than the 6 speed guys.

i just put the magnaflow catback tonight and its just growls a little more than stock but is a smooth good tone no rasp perfect for daily driver course alot of these cars aren't anymore

Forget those shitty catback and go true dual (if you can find the ground clearance).
