Pewter- 2000 Trans Am
Exhaust, Magnaflow or SLP Loudmouth
So it appears that most of you on here are pushing me towards magnaflow or loudmouth. What is the difference between Loudmouth 1 and 2 and where are some good places to look at costs and purchase these? I was leaning towards magnaflow but now thinking Loudmouth, just not sure of the difference. I have a 2000 trans am, all stock parts so I am not looking for performance gains as much as I am looking for sound. I want it to sound tough and know there is an exhaust on it.

Personaly i would go with a magnaflow with a 3" cutout so you can got for either the tame sound or full out nascar sound.

83 Z28 new project- 98 Formula WS7-sold:(
I have magnaflow and love it, sounds even better with headers and a cam. LM sounds ok to me without headers, but if you plan on headers in the future, I would not even suggest LM, its too loud and that is hard for me to say because I like loud.

I like the Magnaflow + cutout idea. You get a good sounding exhaust without disturbing the peace, and when you want that extra snarl you can open the cutout. Its the best of both worlds.

If you are doing headers, go Magnaflow. Headers make it louder, but still a nice clean rumble. Sounds really good
Magnaflow on stock manifolds is very quiet (quieter than stock)
