    Exhaust, Headers, & Y-Pipe question?

I have a 99 Trans Am WS6 A4 and just ordered a pair of Hooker LT Headers and a GMMG cat-back chambered exhaust. I was wondering if it is possible to have cats on the car with longtube headers. Still shoping around for a new Y-pipe so if anyone has any advice that would be great. Also does anyone have the GMMG chambered exhaust, and how do you like it?

You can get a catted Y pipe to run after the long tubes.

I found these headers at Summit Racing and purchased them for $471.14 They also have them at LG Motorsports but cost $899 for the exact same thing, so I think im getting a good deal.

when you say the hooker headers hang low. How low? like will they scrape the ground if you have a steep angle?

+1, i just got mine on about a month ago, they tuck up pretty damn well. btw, installation was a breeze. the directions said to remove all kinds of stuff that i didnt have to.

in the second picture you can see where the lowest point is, and thats the Y-pipe. i only scrape on this one HUGE speed bump at work.
    im at stock ride height.
