Black- 2002 Chevy Camaro
Exhaust
Ok, gotta '02 SS M6, picked it up off a guy with about 100k on it. Runs great, motor was well taken care of. But It has no performance mods on it. I got an air lid, and I did a few of the free mods. Looking for longtubes eventually, but right now I am going to buy a cat back system first.
OK, Option A
Hooker Exhaust 3" cat back. I can get this through work for about $320, I have heard that they sound good but I have never personally heard one.
Downside: regular aluminized pipe, and I dont really liek the tips, I can change these
Oprion B
Magnaflow 3" cat back
I see it on ebay for about $450 or so. Same kind of 3" setup, havent heard these either, but I have heard good things. These setups are made with stainless steel.
Downside: $
I am looking to buy a set of hooker super comp headers around christmas.
What kind of setup are some people running here? Looking for decent sound without rattling windows.
PS: I have been on ls1sounds.com and every one already has longtubes or heads, a cam or no cats, so the sound quality will not be similiar

Bassani 2.5" true duals catback $795 shipped. http://s217.photobucket.com/albums/c...nt=Bassani.flv That's just the catback, before the headers and high flow cats. They cost more than a typical catback, but give you a lot more of a gain for your money. Mrr23 has a dyno where he replaced a catback setup with the Bassani on a lightly modded car and gained 20HP over the other catback.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Option A is good.
Option B is good.
Similiar sound. Both are tame for normal driving, but have a perfect tone when WOT.
Check pricing from our sponsors for the Magnaflow. Heard of new ones going for around $350.
