How does one clean an LS1 engine? What do I have to cover and what can I leave uncovered?

I do believe that's the exact thread that I used and the exact reason I went to get the simple green to clean my engine bay when I get the time. I've only heard good things about simple green.
God invented Turbos so 4-cylinders have a chance.
