    Emission Air Tube Question

I purchased a set of PaceSetters for my 2000 Z28 and the air tube to manifold (drivers side) is no way close to being lined up. It is about 45 degrees out from the bolt holes in the manifold and may or may not reach if it were alinged. I figure I have a couple of choices. 1. Bent the hell out of the tube to make it fit and probably have a twist in the tube. 2. Patch in some more rubber hose from the existing tube to the valve. 3. Put a blank off plate on the manifold but not sure what harm that would do and what about the valve just sitting there open? I have been checking the sites and can't find any info on how to disconnect/eliminate the Air if that is an option. Any ideas welcome

I ran into the same issue, if you wanna block it off then go for it but if you wanna keep it inplace just use a lil elbow grease and let the bolts pull it into place. A lil bending and messin around wit and it should be good.

    Got It!!

I cut the tube 4" above the flange and installed about 6" of blue high temp heater hose ($7.68 a foot). Now I can adjust/twist without screwing up the tube.
