    Talking Electric water pump?

    I have a ? when installing a new water pump what happens to the pulley and belt or will the belt go on without the manual water pump, plus any ideas about how many rwhp i will gain with a eletric plus 160 thermostats and a fan kick on at 185.thanx

    It has a dummy pulley on it that the belt goes on. I would stay away from the 160* stat if you do a search we have discussed this in great detail before on the 160 issue. If you get a Mazier it requires you use a early type t stat which I would use a "high flow" or large orfice 185*.
    We have seen as much as 12 hp to the tires with there pump.

    thanx,4the info and im thinking about the bottle, how much can a stock engine take, slplong and LM, SLP Lid,dont know the rest bought used.

    150 shot easy with the correct tune!! If you upgrade the fuel system you can run 175 all day with NO issues. The key is the correct A/F ratio and not too much timing.
