Oh,,,well I've never heard of any law enforcement officer crawling under cars and looking for cats They are generally interested in running your license and writing tickets.
I've always lived in a non-emissions area, maybe it's different for those living in regulated areas.

If he's having a bad day he will, I've had friends go through the experience, it was not cool.

lol Im not too wound up, just expressing a point, but yea SD's emissions laws are so sketchy that you pry dont even need an exhaust....

plus with where the cats are located on these cars... you would haveto physically be beneath the car, and im not that big of guy and cant fit under there....

Exactly what I'm getting at. I don't know any cop that is willing to crawl around in the dirt just to look for cats. Plus the fact that the majority of cops wouldn't even know what or where to look for. Shucks I've even had cops pull me over and didn't even know the extent of the law as to what they were pulling me over for

Besides as you said who can fit under there anyway??? I think someone said it best "mouse farts won't even fit under there"

    You know who you are

Well you're certainly right if it's an exhaust with shorties or stock headers, then its impossible to check for cats. But I don't know about your setup but on mine at the end of a longtube header the cats are clearly visible under the car if you simply bend over and look (no need to craw under), and my cats are tucked in tight to the body with plenty of ground clearance. How is it that your QTP's are longer than my Kooks headers and you can't see your exhaust?

I'm just saying it's possible. Likely? you're right it's probably not, but possible nonetheless and I know someone who has already been through the experience so I know it happens. Of course this was in Orlando, not South Dakota so the risk was greater I'll hand you that.

yea but even at that point Lt's arent as legal either (in some states)..... but yea you would be able to see them on a Lt setup, mine you would just see a cutout glaring at you on either side....

neither.....I'm just stating a fact. Police are way less likely to hassle someone that's older versus a younger guy. They get hard ons when they pull you guys over.
