I run a pair of cutouts on all my cars, right after the header collectors. So I really don't want turndowns, it would kick up a ton of dust right inside the car

I wanted a turndown as I do not want to blacken the underside of our car with exhaust soot. Just have to watch where you use it to keep things clean I guess.

Here are a couple examples of mine.
This is my 70 formula with cutouts. Honestly I haven't had these open in 7-8 years. I raced the car all the time, usually with the exhaust closed. Seems the system worked well enough for the power it was making, because opening them up only varied the ET about a tenth.

This is my chevelle. I had manual cutouts on this for a long time. About 3 years ago I decided to go electric and couldn't believe I waited that long. This system is efficient enough to keep a 600+ HP motor happy, as opening the cutouts only picks it up about a tenth as well. So the electric cutouts are mainly just for fun on the street.
