    EGR AIR delete

I was wondering if there is some way to avoid the SES light when you do the EGR/AIR, besides a tune, maybe something like the Skip shift delete where you put the resistor in the plug. Just wondering, thanks.

Do the new headers have EGR/AIR ports, or are you just leaving them dissconnected completely??

I don't think mine even threw a code for the AIR system when I had the hoses completely off, but it definitely did set a code for the EGR, since the valve was removed and the connector was unplugged.

Okay, well you'll definitely set a code for EGR, and possibly set one for AIR. You'll just have to get them tuned out. However, you can drive around with those codes without them affecting performance at all, you'll just have the SES light on and won't pass inspection.

Yep. Just leave the EGR tube hooked to the manifold (so you don't have an exhaust leak) and unplug the harness connector from the valve itself. With the connector unplugged, the valve will stay shut, and you won't have any driveability issues at all.
