EGR/AIR block off?
Going to be installing some QTP headers on my car in a few days.. I'll be removing the AIR/EGR, but I want to know if I'll need to order the block off plates too?
I'm assuming I will, but is it possible to make them? Or for ~ $30 would you just be better off ordering them?
If so, what options do I need to select here? Do I need plates AND gaskets for the AIR and EGR or what?

You could allways make your own but the easy way is to pick up some block off plates, from the link you provided you will need option 4. Air and Egr plates with gaskets.

I thought you ordered off road headers? Don't need block-offs if so. I made my own EGR block off for my emission LT, it looks like sh*t.

yeah i did.. that's what i was confused on, I did order the offroad headers, but is there something else I need to block off?
I read something about needing to plug up something in the intake manifold?

If you leave the EGR on the car, and disconnect its' electrical connector, you don't have to buy anything else. If you take the EGR off the car, you will need to plug the hole on the top front of the intake manifold. Thunder Racing or SLP sells that, about $25.

Oh ok, so that's the only thing I'll need to block off if I remove the AIR and EGR?

Correct. You are worrying too much LOL! Like I said, if you leave the EGR valve on and disconnect the electrical connector, you don't have to plug anything. You will like the long tube headers and sound. You are getting an ORY with those headers, right????
