    Has anyone actually used them?
At $7 per plug at AutZone, they cost the same as NGK Iridiums, so if they do what they say & last as long, then the cost is in line.
Has anyone done any real time testing with these plugs, or are we call BS without any real info?

I'll be honest, I'm calling BS on their gain from 2 second hand hear say.
plus they might not last as long, but I can buy 3 1/2 sets of my standard Autolite AR103's for the same price.......a plugs job is just to deliver a contorled spark in the combustion chamber to light off the A/F mixture.

or maybe I'm just closed minded lol

    lol

Yeah, thet'd have to last or the cost is too great.
Seriously, new products come out all the time & people jump on the wagon disclaiming the benefits from said products without even trying them.
How do we really know unless someone tries the new product & reports the data?
Yeah, the plug's job is to light the AF off, but any improvment in the efficiency of the plug to do so would help mileage & engine efficiency wouldn't it?
We need guinea pigs dammit! lol

Installed a set in a 03 GMC. Afterwards, on cold mornings the truck would idle rough and would always set the SES light, swapped a set of TR5's and the problem cleared right up.

I tried them a few years ago, but they had a wide variance in wear. So, unless they've solved the lack of durability problem, I wouldn't use them again.

... this brings back memories of the Split-fire plugs marketed in the early '90s spouting claims of 10HP on engines making 225...

(total BS if I remember correctly)

    Hah, they're still around: http://splitfire.com/

but the split-V tips are gone (discontinued).

Wikipedia says they got into some trouble with the FTC over their false claims but they apparently continue to sell plugs.

(not to me, but hey, someone likes 'em enough to keep 'em in business all these years... I still have a set of the split-Vs in my '93 Mustang Cobra, hahahahah!... I should pull them, put in NGKs and sell them for $200 on eBay )

I wouldn't put E3 plugs in any car engine.

However, they do make small engine plugs, which might be beneficial in small engine applications (weed wackers, lawn mowers, ect) due to their non-fouling design and unique electrode pattern. They also have a lifetime warranty, which is interesting.
