THEY SUCK. Seriously. Don't waste your money. Get coated Pacesetters before you buy that crap. I kid you not. Primaries are tiny, collectors are terribad, ORY merge is SUPER fugly... just not good at all.

Click here for the pics of the OBX I bought and RETURNED to an eBay vendor.

    Don't buy OBX.

do you feel like doing a write up of how to install them? I guess the big thing I'm interested in is what had to be taken off for easy fit. I think in one pic i saw the coil packs off. I have seen other write ups for other brands, sounds like fun.

I'm still confused about the how high you had the car up for install. it sounds like you said you took it up on jack stands for the install, and the ramps were for afterward. is that accurate? i ask becuase I have a pair of steel ramps that look like yours. I have a stock ride height and would think on the ramps it would be plenty high for an install, just guessing.
I recently installed Kooks. I had the car up high enough to sit a 24 pack of beer under the front tires as they hung free (just for reference) using nothing more than a set of large jack stands.

The stock parts I took off by myself. The Y first, then cats (most of the stock bolts broke in the process), then the manifolds. This was all pretty easy and took about 3 hours taking my time.

Putting in the new parts I had one buddy to help. We did the drivers side first. Had to remove the oil filter and the little "cap" on the side of it too for clearance. The only other thing I ended up doing was taking a 3lb sledge to the firewall to get the header to fit all the way up. You'll know right where I'm talking about once you're under there. Don't need much, just about 3/8-1/2". Then BINGO, up goes the drivers side. I did NOT remove coil packs. Hell, for removal I didn't even pull my STB! I'm 6' 230lbs too... my arms aren't exactly small. The passenger side was easy. I was given a good tip tho, make sure the battery is disconnected so you don't short anything and ARC to your shiny new headers! This side goes up painlessly, no firewall persuasion or anything, just BOOM, in she goes (with the Kooks anyways). From there, bolt up your cats&Y or ORY, install the O2s, install new plugs gapped appropriately, plug wires, and connect up your cat back again! Job done!

Then sit back and listen to your car HOWL!

You bet. Spread the word! It cost me $100 in re-stocking fees and shipping costs to learn the lesson... I figure I should share with everyone!

Shiny new headers are nice to look at, but my .025555 cents says use header wrap and coating. Cooler temps, scavenging etc... Or just enjoy the shine.

Your wrong about that this isnt a public forum. You can be banned at any time-just for the hell of it. Whatever they say goes.
