    dumped before the axle?

In the spring i want to run true duals with LT's, however im not sure yet if i want to dump them before the axel or run em all the way out the back. First question is, how much more RWHP is it to dump them over running them out the back? Secondly, is there a way to mount something to hold exhaust tips just for looks or do you think that will look like shit. And how much will you save by dumping them before the axel if it were to be done by a custom place such as ARH? Thanks for the input

im not too sure on the gains, but i personally think it would look goofy with just tips mounted, i dumped mine right at the axle and i think it looks bad ass, i can put some pics up tomorrow when i get them if you would like

Don't put tips on just for looks!! In the end when someone looks under your car and see's its just plain air and not functional there gonna call it dumb! and its not going to help or hurt your performance nor power by dumping the exhaust before or after the axle! If you want power gains run open header!! LOl if you want looks run true duals out the rear!

agreed!! ive got dual cutouts if i want to scare the elderly and i also run true duals if i want good sound....i would say the only difference in running it over the axle and dumping it would be cost, and im pretty sure you have to go 2.5" over the axle if your running 3" duals....

I agree that its not worth the extra money and possible axle clearance issues to have 'em over the axle just for looks.
