    Duals vs. Gmmg

Exploring my option now... Some people I have talked too have tried to talk me out of true duals for my car, because our cars were not designed for them. Meaning low clearence and fitment issues.

I really love the GMMG exhaust sound but the price is a bit steep.

Does anyone know of any mufflers that are designed like the GMMG or similar in sound and such?

I also have some Ebay long tube headers.

I just wanna get this exhaust done...... Back to the bricks is in 3 weeks

although there are many cat back muffs and designs with varying gains, none of them are as free flowing as true duals. if you ever plan on making more power than stock than go with true duals

Biggest clearance problem for my duals is the driver side before the merge. Which goes for everyone, if you look at the sticky there's no problems with duals. In my smelly opinion gmmg sounds great on a stock car, after headers it loses it's magic.

I dont think GMMG makes mufflers. You might have to buy them from another place, but I never heard of them making mufflers.

Personally I would go with GMMG. I have heard GMMG and Duals on cammed cars, and the GMMG sounds sooo much better. I am willing to bet they both flow more or less the same (duals might make a few more ponies) but I dont think it will be anything too noticable if any at all. Are you worried about the duals hanging to low if you dump them before the axle? If so, you can always run them all the way to the back of the car like a cat back and weld in some mufflers.

So those 4" y-pipes they make are pointless then right?
Dumping exhaust doesn't result in any less clearance.
