Dual Cable Throttle Body
Just wondering why some of the F-Bodys have one cable on the throttle body cam and some have two? Mine only has one and it is closest to the driver side. On some cars the passenger side cable runs to the driver side firewall.
Does this have anything to do with TRACTION CONTROL?

Yea i have a 99 and i have two seprate cables going to the TB... obviously one for CC and one for normal driving. My freind has a 99 and he has your set-up of the on cable to the TB going to the small box that has other wires attached to it.. no sure why that is though
I like mine better casue it cleans up the engine compartment a little bit better IMO

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
The "driver side" cable controls the throttle. The "passenger side" cable is for cruise control. My car isn't equipped with traction control(thankfully) and thats why you don't see more cables in my motor pictures. I hope this explains it all
None of the above pictures have cruise control. That 4th picture you posted is the traction control.
You won't see the traction control unit behind the battery in my engine bay.

Navy Blue Metallic- `98 Formula M6 HdTp
All cars have cruise control. The cruise is hooked into the traction control unit on so equipped cars.
