    Direct Flowmaster 80 replacement?

    Currently intstalled (by previous owner)
    Flowmaster Cat back
    Dual 3.00" Outlet
    5.00" x 10.00" 80 Series Crossflow Muffler
    3" inlet

Any suggestions? I was thinking magnaflow. I have shitty shorties, and am getting pacesetters, or ss autochrome LT's also. Like the title says I want a direct replacement. Thanks for the input.

    Hooker Aerochamber

I have the Hooker Aerochamber and it sounds great IMO. Mellow idle and comes to life at WOT.

    Either

Either one sound fine to me. Fitment and the product name...which ever works for you. They both are outstanding IMO

    +1,

The only crossflow single 3" inlet dual 3" outlets I can find are the WLK-17536 and WLK-17670.

how many CFM should I look for? I found one that I like the sound of but its only 705 cfm. I will soon have lt's, full bolt ons, z06 intake. Dont plan on doing heads/cams. Do i need a super high flow muffler that is around 1100 cfm or will I not be able to tell the difference. Any sound clips of the Dynomax 17536? Thanks alot guys!

First of all, you can not compare mufflers by cfm. Most manufacturers do not list the cfm's and if they did they almost always do not tell you what precedure they used to test them. Although, if they gave you specifics of what cfm a straight pipe would flow, then that would be what you would base the cfm off of.

Second of all, are you more concerned about sound of performance?

If you would like it to sound good, then you are going to have to sacrifice some performance. If you want all out performance, then the sound might be a pretty quiet.
