Black- 1993 Camaro Z28
Difference with LS1 intake vs ls6
My buddy has a 2002 Camaro SS! Did that come automatically with the ZO6 intake from the factory or is it the same unit (besides from the EGR fitting) as my 2000 Trans Am LS1 intake, and if so, what physical difference is there between the two?

If it is an 02 its an LS6 intake which looks identical on the outside but is bigger and flows much better on the inside. Aside from the Lack of the EGR it is the same on the outside. On the bottom the LS6 is flat wheras the LS1 has a hump in the middle.

Yeah the LS6 looks identical to the LS1 intake but has a larger plenum and slightly revised runners.

I think it is around 10 horsepower or more! I am not positive though, It will surely wake the car up!
