did i just gain .2hp?
just bought a whisper lid and bellow, is it a waist of money? does it even help? or just more of a cosmetic thing?

Hell no! Lid is always a GREAT first mod. Most see a 8-10 hp gain at the wheels. Easily one of the first mods that should be done along with SFC & a nice flowing CB

LIDS are excellent. GMHPM, did a test a and some lids even gained 12rwhp and the matching torque.
now that you have lid, save $40 by not buying the slp bellow and pickyup a fernco rubber pipe at menards for $3.00 and cut it to fit, for use of a MAF to TB bellow. It really smoothes out the turbulence.
Also for a another freebie mod, looking into doing the "bumpstop mod"
